Well. We will be soon. I certainly won’t be in a position to post stuff on the interwebs then, so I hope you don’t mind if I preemptively strike the blogosphere, now.
Nickolai Vita did a good job of summing up what lies ahead of us this weekend, as far as football and bad fashion sense is concerned. But what I wanted to bring up is there’s a lot of fun BANDY stuff to look forward to, too.
I mean, if you’re an Auburn Trombone player, there’s a whooole lot going on. It’s our first away trip of the season, so the RATs get to learn a few new tricks. And hopefully soon we’ll have all the Traditions pages up, so even if you aren’t in the know, you can get a taste perhaps.
But if you just want to see the Auburn Trombones perform (and maybe the rest of our fine Marching Band too), then here’s the scoop! (This is taken from the official AU Bands website.)
- 1:30 – 3:00 PM (Eastern): Gameday Rehearsal
- Located at the University of Florida practice field
- The public is welcome and encouraged to attend
- 5:30 PM: Tiger Walk Begins
- At the southeast corner of Florida Field, near gate 15
- 6:00 PM: Band marches into stadium
- 8:00 PM: Kick-Off for Auburn vs. Florida (on ESPN)
As always, you can get this official band info at the AU Bands Gameday Page, first. They even have a handy-dandy map, so you can find your way through the slums of UF’s campus. Of course the website itself isn’t as well-designed as ThetaBetaNu.org, but that’s okay, not everyone can be as lucky as the Trombones.
It’s an away game, so no Bone Show this week. I know, it’s sad. However, we’ll be back next week for Vandy, better than ever. Be sure to check us out, then!
WAR DAMN EAGLE! See you Saturday, 8pm, on ESPN!
