The annual A-Day game was held on March 29, 2008 in Jordan-Hare Stadium on the campus of Auburn University. Tony Franklin’s new offense was showcased, and fans attending the game were not disappointed in the results. Over 35,000 fans were in attendance. Although no stabbin’ ‘n’ jabbin’ was involved, around 15 trombones were there to represent TBN in the stands. We were loud, and I’m not afraid to say it. But in other news…

There is a quarterback battle between Junior College transfer Chris Todd (pictured left) and sophomore Kodi Burns. The jury is still out on who will get the nod as Spring practices continue. Personally, both quarterbacks seemed fairly equal in their performances on A-Day. So it’s still up in the air. All I can say is this: it will be exciting. Franklin’s offense is very fast-paced. Plays are run so quickly that the band’s first-down cheer had to be cut short so the play can run.
Hang on tight- it looks like it’s going to be an awesome year!
